it’s piece-y now
i reeeaaally hate my hair these days why does it have to be in that awkward semi-growing out stage noooOOooow i just wanna look cute tonight damnit.
OH YEAH and some dude with a sweater vest and an enormous afro complimented my hair tonight, like he walked over to me from across the room and said “excuse me, i just gotta say, i really, really love your hair, it looks really nice” which was baffling cause this guy had awesome hair himself especially compared to my shaggy little pixie thing
but that was just a weird little much-needed confidence boost (and it’s also making me rethink my decision to grow it out nearish my shoulders again)
so that works for me

Honestly, I’d wanted to do this for years. I thought I wanted to grow it out super long again, and then one day I went to sleep with wet hair and woke up with a curly mess on my head and realized: “Nah.”
So I called for a hair appointment that day and two days later I was shorn! I only told a couple of people, so that was fun too.

so, i got all of my hair chopped off into a pixie hair cut and although i was in love with it right after it got done and a lot of people think it looks amazing i’m feeling slightly regretful and will probably start the growing out process, today.
