  • What Do You Want of Me
What Do You Want of Me by Joan Diener
Man of la Mancha

Why do you want the things you want?
Why do you want these things?
Why do you batter at walls that won’t break?
Why do you give when it’s natural to take?
Where do you see all the good you can see,

And what do you want of me?
What do you want of me?

  • Aldonza
Aldonza by Joan Diener
Man Of La Mancha

You have shown me the sky,
But what good is the sky
To a creature who’ll never
Do better than crawl?

Of all the cruel devils
Who’ve badgered and battered me,
You are the cruelest of all!

Can’t you see what your gentle
Insanities do to me?
Rob me of anger and give me despair!

Blows and abuse I can take and give back again,
Tenderness I cannot bear!

  • Miracle of Miracles
Miracle of Miracles by Yidcore
Eighth Day Slice/ Fiddlin' On Ya Roof

But of all God’s miracles large and small,
The most miraculous one of all
Is the one I thought could never be:
God has given you to me!

  • Dangerous Game
Dangerous Game by Various Artists
Jekyll & Hyde

A dance of death,
Out of a mystery tale…

countessdechagny:

New Les Miz posters

When did the Thénardiers get so pretty and smoothly airbrushed…I’m still cautiously way optimistic for this movie, but I really hope the actual thing is a lot grittier than this poster.

So, can we all agree that “Something’s Coming” from West Side Story was the original “I Gotta Feeling” by The Black Eyed Peas?

  • If Ever I Would Leave You
If Ever I Would Leave You by Robert Goulet
Camelot

If ever I would leave you, how could it be in spring-time?
Knowing how in spring I’m bewitched by you so?
Oh, no! not in spring-time!
Summer, winter or fall!
No, never could I leave you at all!

  • Who Do You Love, I Hope
Who Do You Love, I Hope by Annie Get Your Gun
Annie Get Your Gun (1999 Broadway Revival Cast)

Is it the blondie who acted so shy
I heard the things that she said…
Is it the redhead who gave you the eye
Say that it is and you’re dead!

The only thing that picks my mood up faster than listening to my Favorite Broadway Love Songs playlist is singing/dancing to those songs as well.

My shades are up and the bright light in my room is like a spotlight against the night. I don’t even care though, too much fun to care.
