So, I’ve been posting a bit about non-Disney childhood movies (The Swan Princess, Anastasia, Thumbelina, etc.), when I remembered this one.
Does anyone else remember this movie, this animated adaptation of The Secret Garden?
Because I’ve been Googling and searching all over the interwebs, and the closest thing I could find to the proof of its existence was this VHS cover. Like, I can’t even find what production company made it or who drew it or scored it or anything like that.
Tell me I’m not going crazy. Tell me this movie existed, because I was absolutely obsessed with it as a kid and can still quote parts of it and was scared out of my mind by Mrs. Medlock.
So…does anyone else remember this one?
I feel as though in a lot of ways, I owe a good chunk of my happy childhood VHS memories to Liz Callaway.
Loved this movie so much as a kid. Dimitri was way hotter than any animated Disney prince, ever. Just sayin’.
